Happy Monday!

This week, campers will learn all about "Things that Go...On Water". Today's lesson was on submarines! Campers practiced responding to questions and listening attentively as we read Super Submarines!

For the craft today, campers practiced requesting colors by pointing, their communication devices, or words! Using their fine motor skills, they practiced their grip and colored sailor hats!

Each camper then took a turn coming up to the board for Boom Cards! Some practiced matching starfish while others counted the sea animals on the board. This worked on the campers' critical thinking and helped introduce some of the vocabulary for the week.

To finish off the day, campers used their creativity to work with Play-Dough! This activity was great for their fine motor skills, as they rolled out the dough. Then, they used sea shells and stampers to make all sorts of sea creatures.
