Day 15 - June 26th

 Happy Wednesday!

Camp today was full of fun! We read Pete the Cat: Out of this World to practice counting and our space vocabulary!

After reading, campers participated in a kinetic sand sensory bin! Campers worked on sensory acceptance and their fine motor skills as they played with moon rovers, space ships, and astronauts on the moon!

Today, campers also worked on an astronaut craft! They practiced their grip while coloring their astronaut suits with crayons, and we worked on requesting as campers picked stickers to decorate their galaxies.

To end the day, campers watched a science experiment! Campers practiced following directions as they took turns squirting moon rocks and watched them dissolve.

Reminders for TOMORROW:

Send campers in their purple camp shirts!

Tomorrow will be the end of camp celebration.

We want to invite you all to come celebrate the end of summer camp on June 27th! We will provide Chick-fil-A for lunch. Each child is required to have an adult come to camp at 11:30am however, campers can be dropped off at normal time, 8:45am. Bring a towel and sunscreen! Siblings are welcome to attend.

A packed lunch will not be necessary, but do not forget to send a snack! Campers are not allowed to participate in water activities without a parent present. After the party, campers can go home, but please let us know when you and your camper are heading out.

See you there!
