It's Wednesday!
We had another great day of camp, and we are excited for tomorrow! Today the campers listened to The ABC's of Sailing during story time. Students practiced their alphabet and learned all about sailboats.
For the craft today, campers made their own handprint sailboats! They worked on following directions and sensory acceptance.
Campers also played with Boom Cards today for technology-based learning! They used their fine motor skills to drag the sea animals across the board. Each camper took a turn coming up to practice matching or to create an underwater scene. This activity went over this week's vocabulary, and campers used their imaginations and critical thinking skills.
Today, we also performed a science experiment! Campers identified the objects they were holding and practiced responding to questions about them. Then, we predicted if the items would sink or float!
Lastly, the campers shared cookies and wished Juliette a Happy 5th Birthday!
Don't forget to send campers in their shirts TOMORROW!
